Background:

NINE formed a few years ago to become a high-energy band with an extraordinary horn section to cover some of the hottest music from the 70’s up to the present. And man, our horn players are smoking hot, with over 50 years of playing experience. Covering songs from Chicago, Tower of Power and The March of Ides without a problem, it’s easy to see that they are the best horn section anywhere in Southern Michigan.

Another 50 plus years of experience in the rhythm section gives NINE a tight, driving sound. Capable of playing any style of music, they can be up front and in your face or they can lay back and give the horn section and vocalist a solid backdrop.

Last but not least, the melodies in these tunes would test any vocalist, and NINEs lead singer comes through clearly, hitting the high notes while keeping the songs smooth and flowing. A strong voice that is able to stay above 2 and 3 voice background vocals. A strong presence on stage, he is a talented and accomplished.
